We do a ton of tracking.
Our tracking room is equipped with 13’ ceilings and exposed brick walls—great for big drum sounds, guitars that need room to breathe, or anything else you can dream up. We’ve got a mix of vintage and modern instruments, microphones, and preamps, so there’s usually a way to get the sound you’re after.
We understand that project come in all shapes and scopes and budgets, so we always offer a consultation up front. Email us to start the conversation.
Most projects fall into one of a few categories, though we’re flexible:
1. Full Band Tracking

We like to record bands playing together in the same room. Headphones on, amps isolated unless you want that “live in the room” chaos. A scratch vocal keeps the song grounded while the basics—drums, bass, rhythm guitars—get tracked. After that, we overdub whatever else makes sense: extra guitars, keyboards, percussion, final vocals. It’s a way to keep the energy of a live performance without sacrificing control.
2. Songwriter Development

Some artists come in with nothing more than chords and lyrics. That’s fine. We usually start with the core instrument on a click track and a placeholder vocal, then figure out what the song needs. Sometimes that means session players, sometimes it’s just you and the room. We can offer suggestions, but the song usually has the final say.
3. Vocal Production & Existing Beats

For solo artists working over a beat or finished production—hip hop, R&B, electronic—we focus on vocals. Doubles, harmonies, ad-libs, fine-tuning performance details. We’ll add live instruments if it serves the song, but no extra flourishes just for the sake of it.
Bottom line: we provide a space where music happens. You show up, do your thing, we help it sound like it should. Email us to discuss getting started.
